Look at it this way. We are currently sitting at 14-7 having made a great start. We got our legs back, got on the same page and have turned the corner. We have exponential chemistry growth. Now you want DMo to come and upset the rotation minutes, sulk if he doesn't get his minutes and affect chemistry? We will be back on the edge of a steep cliff....
Shoot. In my day, boy, we used to have to go down to an old parking garage on the corner of Richmond and some such and then give a hand job to some Old dirty middle manager guy who would give a a shiny quarter for my efforts. Then I'd find one of them Newspaper vending machines and get me a crisp copy of the Houston Post and rifle through it. You just have to scroll down some. And before you chillins chime in with taunts of "TMI, you cuck" or something of the like; It was either that or have a conversation with Eddie Sefko or later, Feigen. And I wasn't about to do that.
There are 82 Rockets games a season, more if you include playoffs. There has only ever been one instance of a Rockets player holding out way past the summer as a RFA and then turning around and pouting when his offer his matched.
