gilbert arenas intensely studied and adopted kelvin cato's remarkable ball-around-the-waist FT routine, the very routine that allowed the great cato to nail FTs at a 64% clip

Kelvin Cato is the reason why I was a Rockets fan when the Dream left.

I actually attended the Rockets-Spurs preseason game in San Antonio that resulted in CD giving Kelvin Cato a $42 million deal. Cato dominated Duncan that night and finished with a bunch of rebounds and dunks. It was the best game of his life.

In retrospect, I can only shake my head when I think of the awful contracts that Carroll Dawson handed out:

Maurice Taylor: 6 yrs, $48 million
Kelvin Cato: 6 yrs, $42 million
Moochie Norris: 6 yrs, $22 million
Brent Price: 7 yrs, $18 million
Matt Maloney: 6 yrs, $18 million

Until someone can prove it otherwise, Cato is dead to me. May he RIP and god bless him :)

wat does it mean? It means we are wasting our time on this "Cato" Thread, he showed some flash and got tons of Rocket-cash and did zilt.

I think Walt Williams and Cato both came with the Pippen deal from Portland. Ya, Walt the Wizard Williams.
