IB4 DD shows up with the Lowry being an average, non-athletic player comment

Lowry makes over 6 mill, so how is that cheap?

Also he only has two more years then will be an UFA, got to trade him now before his value drops.

Ok I'm down, but it is not going to happen ....he is frustrated
If we had only had that trade go down maybe no1 would be b****ing
As Lowry would be starter and Lin 6th man , and maybe a HEALTHY Livingston
Boom he can play both positions....oh ya Stern fuked us

Its cheap because he is WAY underpaid.. especially when the new CBA kicks in next year

If Lowry and Dragic were to both hit the market right now, Lowry would get significantly more.. most likely the 10 million that Dragic is looking for right now, and his advanced stats would prove he is worth it( at least more than Dragic)

Unless the Rockets are truly going into full rebuild mode, please keep Lowry. The reason he has trade value is because he's ****ING good. He plays with a fire that I have a feeling Jeremy Lamb and Royce White will need to learn from.

Keep Lowry and continue with the current plan... or tank and rebuild through the draft.

    Sorry, not what I meant.

The point was he will be less tradeable the less time he has left on his contract.

    yep...

Rondo is the FAR better passer, and probably more athletic, but Lowry is clearly the better shooter, and they are about equally defensively

^to add his contract is a valuable contact, bc he's underpaid for all he can do.
Look most teams would take him over Lin nd Dragic-he's proven wayyyyy more, and he's
pretty healthy mostly.-anyways I regress to add his contract is like that of when
we first acquired KMart-12m it was worth it bc he was a spread the floor shooter, who could drive, and get to the FT line better than most 2 guards-then Mchale came in, and he's
been forgotten. Lowry's contract is comparable to that in that at 6 m per he's doing things
like a top 8 PG in the league especially in assists, and PG rebounding. He also
added a shot to his game, constantly has improved...maybe a diva, but he's worked
hard and took that bargain contract...I see where he's coming from.

I think he was more pissed that McHale's simplistic schemes forced him to run 15 million Pick and Rolls a game for us to have a competent offense. Dude isn't really stat focused, just wants to win, and I think he had a preference for the way Rick's offense made scoring a bit easier and got the whole team involved. Have to admit, I kinda agree with Kyle on that front. I'm hoping McHale can do better with a full training camp.

He is ...rondo has the tools in the shed around him tho:cool: But Lowry is a little bit less in steals as well...maybe he's better, but Rondo is a good D player.
Lowry is def. the better shooter, which took work he doesn't have
the ease Rondo plays with (it's a little easier game for rondo). Lowry has to
work harder. I would love Rondo, but I like Lowry, and what he's done as a starter and orig. his bkup role with AB showing what PG should be:eek:

People have such short memories. It was just half a season ago that everyone was touting Lowry as our best player and an All-Star. Now, he's chopped liver??? I agree he has a lil attitude but so does Kobe, Bynum, Carmelo etc. and we'd happily take any of those guys. The ONLY reason we should trade Lowry is if we can get Dwight or Bynum. Otherwise, keep Kyle and save that money. Lowry, Martin/Lamb, Parsons, Scola and Asik isn't a bad starting lineup. If we can get Camby to come back, I think we're good enough at the 5 and we still have Morris, Patterson, White, Jones and Livingston coming off the bench. Not a bad lineup and we will still have money to improve if necessary.

PS- I'm a huge Lin fan and would love him back on the Rox but only if Lowry is traded for an elite big.

I don't like the idea of paying Lin or Dragic more than a guy that we already have under contract who has proven that he's worth the price tag. Coach McHale summed the situation up perfectly, he said that it's normal for a player to get upset with a coach. And even went on to say that there will only be a problem when that upset player is sitting on the bench.

We need to pass on Lin AND Dragic. I don't think that the damage/rift between Kyle and Coach is something that is beyond mending. Kyle said that he didn't see himself being able to coexist with Dragic and I agree. Now that Dragic is not gonna be here then there should be no reason that Kyle as our starter will be unhappy. Now if a deal were to come along that is just too good to pass on then yes by all means we need to do it. Until then, roll with the guys we have.

Getting Asik and bringing over D-Mo, along with adding the 3 new guys already makes us a better team than we were a year ago.

I wouldn't trade lowry because I'm bringing in lin,but that's what will happen. I would've tried to keep dragic @7 or 8m and dump lowry with scola for a guy like al jefferson which still may happen. Still early, we will see though.

That's arguable but they're near the same level, right now. I think Dragic still has a higher ceiling.

But, yes, being stuck with him is no big issue, or even an issue. I never wanted him gone.
