Wage workers would love working longer hours if they had the same profit motive incentives of their employer. The Shrodinger's bootstraps.... Telling people their low wage labor job isn't meant to sustain a household but as a transitioning job where you are supposed to be training to better yourself to get a career job but at the same time tell them they need to work 40-50 hours per week to make basic needs to sustain living removing significant time for learning a skill, trade, higher education etc. And if they have children? Forget about. Time for self improvement, work 50 hours and raise another human?

It's not about shame. It's about not having a perpetual life of working 50+ hours a week doing low wage labor and Uber without time to actual improve life or so something you are actually passionate about or raise your children. This is the concept of risk tolerance? I know entrepreneurial brain rot will make you say "well that person should work hard to start a small business" as your solution which tells me there is some privlige you have you as rent willing to admit to if you think it's easy. Can you explain the concept of risk tolerance? I want to see if you understand this concept.
I and other posters have posted Harris’s policy positions on this forum. They aren’t secret. Yet you still see on this page and others mostly inane criticisms and fake pics.
Your post here is a great example of what I mean. No candidate has ever refused to put their policies on their website, but somehow it's okay that Kamala hasn't? You all defend her for mentioning one or two things at a rally, yet her website still has nothing. Why not just make it official? Simple... she doesn’t want to be held accountable for them. She'd rather just pander and flip her positions when necessary depending on audience.
Low wage and minimum wage jobs (for a man) should be in highschool, right after HS (if you decide to continue your education) and in-between jobs. If you don't wanna go to college (school is not for everyone), and can't land an union job, there are few options that you have to make a decent living with low risk involved- driving= box trucks, vans, if you don't wanna be away all the time driving nation-wide, you can always do hotshots which can make you 60-100k a year. Construction and remodeling, professionals have a high turnover rate in those professions so its fairly easy to get hired, in about 2-3 years you can get your own tools and start doing it, if you can't go independent right of the bat, you can always subcontract through stores until you build your clientele. Also plumbing (very good pay). Something is gotta give I agree with you, but thats life, and you have to decide what you gotta do.
