Yep. In the Middle East that kind of hive mind attached to ideology can get you a country ruled by the Taliban. It's dangerous stuff when spread so widely, and then you insert it into a country that is very divided and tribal and there you go. If the US was more tribal, and the Democratic coalition was split up more than it is, this American Taliban would absolutely be able to take power, and completely change America especially for women.
