No candidate would be running away with anything against Trump. Not Obama, not Bill Clinton, not John F Kennedy. The Donald has a floor around 43% and a ceiling around 48 %. That's it. There isn't room for a run away with the election race no matter who runs against him. That is the way it is with the nation, politics, and MAGA today. His base will never leave him no matter what. Pay attention.

I didn't comment much at all on Biden's mental state. But whatever it is and has been, he's been more effective than Trump. Nobody except maybe his family and medical staff have a complete picture of what his cognition level is at for how much of the time.

once againm SG projectin his willful ignorance

In September 2011, Harris pulled California out of the nationwide mortgage settlement talks after a coalition of state attorneys general and federal agencies spent nearly a year trying to hammer out a deal with the nation’s five largest mortgage servicers: Wells Fargo was accused of using illicit tactics to wrongfully foreclose on homeowners.

Harris made the decision to pull out of the talks after she met personally with representatives from the banks, saying that the deal they were offering would have provided just $2 billion to $4 billion to California. Harris has dismissed the deal as “crumbs on the table.”

When the nationwide mortgage settlement was reached more than four months later, California had secured separate commitments from the three biggest mortgage servicers— B of A., Wells Fargo. and JPMorgan Chase & Co----close to $25 billion

the $25 billion settlement for Calif homeowners makes other state AGs look like dumb asses

Many of them are absolutely brainwashed. There are people who believe every damn lie out of his mouth, and refuse to believe any proof that it's simply lies and fabricated truth. There are people who think that whole Arlington story is fake news. There are people who believe Trump actually won the last election. Besides all the naive and brainwashed ones, there are the QAnon types, who he embraces. They are batsh*t crazy conspiracy nuts.

Then you have the white supremacists who support his racist viewpoints, and feel he stands with them because he refuses to condemn them for anything. You also have violent right wing extremists in the mix. All those types support Trump, along with the self-serving greedy types who want the tax breaks for the rich, and a few die-hard Republicans who will support any GOP candidate, no matter how unfit or dangerous they are to run this country. Whether it's their die hard abortion stance or gun fetish, that one reason is enough for some of them. They don't care enough about anything else to stop themselves from voting for a psycho pathological lying felon. Of course, you have to add in the white collar criminal types he associates with, who cover each other's backs, and stick together like flies on sh*t with bribes, money, and pardons.

I just hope that most Americans see Trump as dangerous, and unfit to serve. Hopefully more have woken up to the fact that he can't be trusted to do what's best for our country, and that he is nothing but a pathological lying, self-serving criminal, who thinks he is above the law, better than anyone, and lives in a twisted state of reality like the sociopath he is.

I did have a double take when she said she went to Ukraine and warned Zelinksy and listed some other Biden accomplishments, but he passed the torch so whatever.

I don't really see her current strategy as a big issue. Her campaign effectively started a few weeks ago, so getting her to rattle off policy proposals is either unrealistic or off putting to most people.

Most Americans don't know her, so she's better off resetting or establishing her connection with voters than meet head to head with Trump at a time when even Trump was gearing towards a slugfest with Biden.

Joy and weirdness are good hacks to signal a difference, but it's really whether people will believe her and feel she's competent to pull it off.

The typical thing with the oppo is that once she does bring out proposals, they'll wipe their asses with it and claim it's either the workings of an elitist think tank or corporate lobbyist.

I do expect more interviews and more proposals on what her vision of America would be under her. It would take demons rising from the bowels of Mar a Lago for me to consider voting Trump, but it doesn't mean many voters would just stay at home, like they were considering with Biden.

CMV: your Twitter timeline is just the online equivalent of the day time opinion shows from the Fox News Channel. If I put Bill O’Reilly, Judge Jeanine, Tucker Carlson, the Fox 5, or Sean Hannity as the source, it would look just the same.
Conservative hot takes from these folks are effective in reinforcing and justifying conservative self-righteousness (to preserve engagement and eyeballs), not convince other people to join the cause.

No different than hammer posting clips from the MSNBC day or evening shows or actual leftist media sources, really. But it’s annoying all the same.

Done once in a while, it can be insightful. Done sometimes, it can be funny. Done more frequently, it becomes redundant. Done all the time and it becomes obsessive and in your own words insufferable.

We don’t need the extra spin from the conservatives stars of Twitter to know why you personally think taxing unrealized capital gains is bad or that you think Harris is a socialist superstar. Post your own takes and become the thought leader you strive to become.

in case you were unaware of your source:

It's almost as if Trump supporters, having nothing of Trump's own vision for the future to highlight, are desperate to find something... anything... at all to try and work as an attack on Harris. Sadly, for you guys, nothing is working.

Can you provide some proof that these are the same people? Eagleman/Freeman? @Ubiquitin

Looks like the source for your claim is...some random leftist accounts on x.
