Joe Biden could be only able to complete 1 sentence out of 3, his drool needs to be wiped, wearing Depends, and thinks it 2000, and I would still vote for him over that lying ******* Trump. I don’t even care which woman he chooses for VP.
Same. And honestly, Mr. Scarface, I think most Americans feel the same way. I believe that Trump will retain most of his ardent supporters in 2016. But that’s it. His base with no expansion and no benefit of the doubt from independents. It’s done. I’ve never seen a president run a negative ad against himself for 3 years. I just can’t envision the average American being able to cast a vote for trump with any shred of dignity
Attacks like these carried a tiny bit of weight during primary season. But it’s time for the general election now. The Republicans appear to be running Donald Trump as their candidate. Losing strategy
How can any rational person look at Joe Biden and conclude he's the great hope to beat Trump? Dead energy, rapidly developing dementia, history of family corruption, groping/sniffing young girls, credible sexual assault allegations, history of plagiarism, and a long track record of bad votes (Iraq War) and bad policy (crime bill). He's the worst candidate in decades, you just haven't figured it out yet!
It is done all the time to “balance the ticket”. Trump choose Pence because he was a bible thumper. Obama and GW choose who they did because they were older.
Random question: if Al Franken never got caught up in that scandal and was a still a member of the Senate, do you think he would have run for President? I do and I actually think he might have been the one with the best chance, outside of Bernie, to gain enough momentum to seriously topple a household name like Joe Biden. Thoughts?
He has the charisma and likeability part nailed down unlike Bernie or Biden that's for sure. I honestly don't know enough about Franken's postions to have a solid opinion. From my understanding he was closer to the Bernie side of the party in terms of policy relative to Biden.
Possibly. I think he had a firm understanding of policy. He is not quite but almost the policy wonk that Senator Warren was. Unlike Warren he was very good at illustrating the problems he was tackling. He had solutions as well and was able to put those forward in a very concise and digestible way.
Former AG and Governor of Arizona, former DHS Secretary, heads UC, available, would help turn AZ blue.
I think he doesn't have the killer instinct he would need to play politics at this level. I can tell because he let his conscience get to him and got run out of the Senate. A soulless jackal fit for the Oval Office never would have allowed that to happen. That dude's vote is worth as much as yours.
I get what you’re saying, but from what I recall his hands were pretty much tied. I wish due process still existed in cancel culture, but once Gillibrand and other #MeToo groups started piling on he was taking heat from both sides. That said, history won’t be kind to the Dems and how they handled that situation. No due process and the primary accuser’s story is full of holes and credibility issues. In a world where none of this ever happened, I really do believe he could have had a serious shot at securing nomination if he chose to run for President. His combination of charm, wit and humor would have stood out.
