Yeah but this probably isn't Hopkins best either. Plus Revis has been good this year and was last year with the Patriots.
I'm pissed that Hopkin's badass one hand catch last season was called back due to a penalty..and then a weeks after Beckham has his (less impressive) catch which blew up and became infamous. After Hopkins first one handed catch today, the announcer mentioned how receivers were taking a page out of Beckham's book. Should be the other way around!
Yep. Had a coworker (I live out of state) say to me after the Bengals game, "I saw that Hopkins catch that was called back against the Giants. I had never seen that before. And that was before the Beckham catch? That may have been better."
Yeah I heard that. This a week after ESPN gave credit to Hopkins for doing it first when they showed the replay on MNF.
nice to have a good backup in yates. he's played a tremendous game all things considered. but what is up with the offensive coordinator? why in the world would a sane person ever want to drift away from play action bootleg. it always causes mismatches. stop trying to run shotgun like we have some New england qb that wears furry boots. mas bootleg porfavor!
The Odell catch counted, and was on Sunday Night Football. The Hopkins catch didn't count and was on a game no one was paying attention to.
Just little mistakes make for a bad offense. Washington with a drop and Yates throwing high on 3rd down. If we limit to 1 mistake in a 4 down play than we will win. We can't make 2 mistakes back to back.
