uniforms: have always liked them. when you're spoiled to the greatness that was the Columbia Blue, no uniform could ever measure up. But these have done well enough. I've actually like every iteration of them, and I love the bull logo.
put me in the uniforms suck camp. that blue is too dark and boring. there is not nearly enough red. plus it looks like a college ripoff with the shoulder accents. the bull is a dumb, asymmetrical logo that i also hate. their secondary logo is better, honestly. i don't *mind* being the bulls or whatever.... but I just hate the uniform and logo combo they came up with.
I love the logo, and think it looks great on hats and t-shirts. IMO, the asymmetry makes it look "off" on the helmets - especially the mirrored one on the left side of the helmet. I know it wouldn't work by not having a mirrored image, I just think it's a function of the asymmetry and something that takes away from the logo/brand. I'll be looking forward to seeing how this team responds to the challenge that's in front of him this week against Tennessee. A win on the road, coming off a lackluster home opener could be the jolt of confidence this team needs to go on a good little run and put the Jets game behind them for good.
I don't get the complaining about symmetry. Look up team logos and let me know how many of them are symmetrical. I *love* that logo. (sure, the derrick was better, but she dumped you baby; ya gotta move on!)

it was, by any measure, the worst possible start to this season. i think people would have freaked out regardless of how they lost - but that kind of lost spread the freakout around. i'm giving them 8 weeks. sunday rattled me - but it is, after all, one game. even really good teams have off weeks. here's hoping that was an off week. love the logo; i think the uniforms are plain jane boring, but in modern way that lends them no flavor. and i hate darl pants/light jerseys. DYK: the texans were originally going to have a 4th color: gold. the initial SB logo was supposed to a sneak peek of the uniform colors - but then the rams changed from yellow to gold, along with navy, and the texans changed to plain, boring red, white and blue. too bad - i've always LOVED the color combo of that logo. those would have been *sweet*.
Some may be in denial that we have a game this weekend. badass Titans defense + Titans losing last weekend + Titans @ home + Titans remembering the Texans winning the last matchup + the big softie Texans = effing train wreck waiting to happen. Here to hoping that the Titans mail it in next Sunday (or else we can all start writing our 1000+ word post on why firing Kubiak now is better than latter)
holy crap..i didn't know that at all. that would have been interesting to see what would have been gold in their logo and/or their uniforms.
Im not big on the uniforms, but I think the logo is badass. I like the battle red jerseys...probably because we become a superhuman team when we wear them.
i'm not sure they ever got that far, but i think these and these uniforms are bad ass, and *light years* better than the drab ones the texans landed on. hasn't st.louis gone ot white and blue pants? if so, the texans should jump all over this color scheme, imo.
