I heard on Sports Radio 610 that Dunta wrote on his sneakers "Pay me Rick." He said that it was a reminder for what he's there for, playing for. When did Dunta become like this? I thought you were supposed to be playing for the love of the game, your teammates. And it's not like he's played for free today.
I hope he hurts his ankle while covering Andre in practice. Seriously, guys like 'dre go out and give their best no matter what... EVEN DEMECO is out there playing hard and he just slaps the entire team in the face like that. Good bye, go somewhere. If we were a quality organization we'd just cut him the next day. Peace. How many times in the NFL do we see teams just saying "F'u we will win or lose without you." Needs to be done... <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/EB5-yJM3vJc&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/EB5-yJM3vJc&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> Can't do it.
Then you would have something in common with the Texans offense from today. Everything they did looked leisurely...and poorly done, like your posts in this thread.
years of losing does wonders to a positive attitude, just read my last 25 posts in this thread..or not. Dunta has basically been here from the start and he's been through the darkages/losing trench wars. He used to be pro-bowl caliber near all-pro talent and he still seems to believe he is. Bottom line is he's coming off of a SERIOUS injury and the NFL is a what have you done for us lately league. Teams don't pay players for 15 sacks achieved in 2004, they pay players on their current and projected/potential future performance. Dunta, give us 75+ tackles and 8 int's and I semi-guarantee that you'll get paid...
''We were pretty much dominated as a football team across the board. We obviously weren't ready to play and that starts with me.'' — Gary Kubiak. • • • ''We played a game totally out of whack as far as throwing it and running it. That's not us. Our team can't win that way. We got behind and started throwing it every down. We're not going to win football games that way.'' — Gary Kubiak.
Funny thing...9ers playing it tough against the NFC CHAMPS... So I really don't want to hear about how good the Jets are, Cards are good too, yet the 9ers are giving them everything they got. Dunta saying that is basically a middle finger to all those guys who put their all on the field. He'll just play though, and it'll send the message to the our guys that yeah...this is what we play for...to get big contracts so we can go play for other big teams. Texans, we might become the NFL version of the Clips or Griz. Basically a team that drafts high annually to eventually let their star young players go to bigger and better things.
Yea but show us the plays man....give use the int's and tackles. Talk is cheap. Prove that you are what you were.
I usually side with the athletes when it comes to money... But you DID sign the franchsie tag offer. If you dont like it he should have held out the whole season....If you sign a contract be ready to play and have a good attitude. Very unclassy move my Robinson he would be better sitting out the whole year... Atleast with crabtree he is holding out and not earning any money from the niners..I think its a stupid move but atleast hes sticking to his guns Bench Robinson we dont need one of the dumbest things I've seen an athlete do...
Schaub sucks. That $100 bet I made with The Cat is probably going to be th easiest money I've ever made. Betting cash money against homers is genius.
LOL! I was waiting for this. People talked smack after the second game last year when the identical Favre-Schaub discussion was had by ESPN-fed simpletons like yourself. Schaub basically outperformed Favre across the board last year... BUT after the first two games: Favre: 33-48, 375 yards, 7.8 YPA, 3 TD, 1 INT Schaub: 42-70, 390 yards, 5.5 YPA, 1 TD, 5 INT And Schaub ended up ahead of Favre (far ahead in most) in QB rating, completion percentage, TD/INT ratio, YPA, YPC... etc., etc. Now, what happened? Schaub improved, like many young quarterbacks do -- and the quality of the defenses he faced went down. Meanwhile, Favre, like most old, washed up quarterbacks -- broke down, hurt his arm, and his performance went downhill. I completely expect Favre to outplay Schaub in the first couple of weeks. I would've told you the same thing last week. (If you haven't noticed, the Titans and Jets have better defenses than the Browns and Lions. No **** Favre might have a better start.) The problem is, as simpletons like you didn't learn last year in the identical debate when Favre also started hot, the season doesn't last a couple of weeks. It lasts 16 games. Schaub will improve, Favre will break down again, and you'll be out $100 (and it won't even be close). Keep watching ESPN and stick to their boards, if possible. You're not ready for the real world.
Troll is back. Last time I checked, your so-called team lost their opener also. I would rather be a miserable Texans fan than a Houstonian who follows & roots for another city's team. I'm assuming you are from Houston, right? Screw you & Bud Adams.
Nothing surprising about you continually behaving like a 14 year old in Texan threads. Go away troll and keep talking about how pretty your ex-girlfriend is (the one that left you for another man).
