Against Rex Ryan coached defenses from 2005 (Baltimore twice and Jets today), we are 0-3 with averaging 11.7 pts with only 1 offensive TD total 2.7 TO 62 rushing yards 23:43 TOP 3.7 sacks allowed 58.5 avg Passer Rating
Yes the line had a bad game, but they can't always block 8 guys. It was more than that. Totally agreed on playoff talk, it should cool for a while and the old "take it a game at a time" line should be in play
That is exactly the reasons we should have known what was coming. They just did not seem prepared for it
It has nothing to do with things said about the blatantly poor performance, but when it comes to the inevitable declaration of "it" being over, done with and all the other constant doomsday season claims, I have no interest in them. We get it. But its those same media members that will flip right back over the next week. If you construed it any other way, I apologize.
i admire your patience and perseverance, my friend. Although it's refreshing and positive, let's face reality...
Richard Justice is by far the worse when it comes to being such a front runner. Used to like him but I think all the face time has changed him
here is a list of the past superbowl coaches. After reviewing this list, I ask any one of you. WOULD YOU pick Kubiak over any of these listed below? I don't know really, its hard and I think it's a toss up as I hear Kubiak is the next big thing. Yes, I know it's taking this to the EXTREME, but I can't imagine any of the players for these coaches quitting on them? Nor can I imagine any of the teams associated with the coaches below being as ill-prepared as we were today. Proven commodities are out there waiting for the right $$offer. hey it's only one game right? Preparation side was inexcusable, as was the lack of adjustment. Both fall on the same shoulders. Then again, the execution was non-existent as well.
Forget Superbowl coaches, I think most fans would be willing to accept a coach that can get us the playoffs for once.... Hey Marty Schottenheimer is available...
I'll take Marty, Billick, Cowher, Holmgren, Shanahan, even Gruden over Kubiak. The Texans front office and their 25 vice presidents don't seem to understand that the honeymoon is over. People will eventually begin to stop coming to games. I'm very curious which idiot is giving McNair advice, because I'm pretty sure any of us armchairs on this board can give better advice than whatever nonsense he's listening to. I guess there are dumb billionaires.
dude, chill out, what do you expect, mcnair to fire kubes before the two minute warning in the fourth. if you look around the league, teams are taking chances on young coaches. this team has improved under kubes, if he shows no progress this year, he will probably go. and then you can start looking at coaching options.
