Nice to see/hear us getting some love from the ESPN guys.

 

It may be shocking, but maybe Ward and Slaton will be on the block?

I know it's only preseason and the backups are in, but 4 first half sacks is pretty sweet.

 

like the def so far.

the run is a little soft up the middle but otherwise looks solid

 

Has Kareem been playing with the backups?

 

Yeah, based on previous seasons, I'm trying to be cynical and jaded, but the defense looks much, much better.

 

Better question: has he fallen down yet? :grin:

 

I don't think so. He and Allen started. Since the starters came out, I can only remember seeing Molden, McMannis, and McCain.

 

A couple of things,
Footloose is mid season form, loved the tantrum with his shirt half way opened.

Our first team line backers looked confused, did not communicate well, almost as if this 3-4 defense was new to them.

 

Never thought I'd be so excited to watch any time the defense took the field. Wow this scheme is fun. Still have concerns about it's weak spots and Mario has a long way to go in his transition, but they just generated more plays than all of last season combined.

 

Crap, I should really learn to hit the view post before submitting. I liked the play of the defensive line. Watt is the real deal.

Also, Nfl star was still being picked on.

 

Defense looks so much better, they would have to. How could they look worse than last year?

 

It's so much more than "better"

They really punched all the right buttons.

 

This is the Texans defense I am use to seeing. But I was impressed the first half.

 

mcelroy looks impressive in that he isnt shaken up at all and seems to be in controll

 

ESPN front page has the "Jets bang it out with the Titan"?

 

Kickoff return has been dreadful.
