I genuinely hope that Lin doesn't ignore this and instead uses it to fuel his work ethic and next year whenever we play NYK he crushes the crap out of them.

    That's the only payback.

well if we make the playoffs, the sooner we can pay off that pesky 1st rd pick we still owe. I don't want us sucking a few years down the road and end up with the #1 pick and have to give it up. the sooner we pay it off, the better. and plus, morey made an entire city bend over once again, how sweet is that

hopefully. those fans are terrible. i know some other fans can get rowdy too, but that is just plain disgraceful. I know not all knicks fans are like that, but those idiots are giving fans everywhere a bad name. seriously, I can understand you're mad, but how can you blame ln? blame your stupid failure of an organization!

So Lin didn't go behind the back and told Rockets than Knicks will match and then reconstruct contract?

    Nope he didnt.

The original offer was a verbal agreement and it was leaked by the media, neither party acknowledged it or declined it.

Soon as the offer was leaked, Woodson stated that Knicks will match and talked about Lin being the starting PG. Marc Stein tweeted that Knicks will match up to a billion dollars.

Rockets then reconstruct the offer based on the information they had.

Stop spreading lies and false information, get a life.

Not necessarily, the pick is top 14 protected until 2016. After that, the rockets must give a 2017 2nd round pick and cash.

Who are those people? His Facebook friends? Worse than disgraceful, hurtful and racists. Worst fans ever seen. Worse than the jazz fans.

You gotta be kidding me? I guess Lin needed to conspire with the rockets how to play the hand after Mike Woodson showed the hand to everybody.

Nope. Royce is a 65, Lin's 76 and the highest rated on the team is K Mart at 77.

Seriously. Is Sigmund the Glen Rice? Sound exactly like him. I'm pretty sure he's NOT that Youtube kid. Pretending to be Filipino so it doesn't make him sound racist.

I'm always going to wonder what Morey's plan was for the point guard position if the Knicks matched Lin.
