Official Rockets press release and statement from Les. http://www.nba.com/rockets/news/rockets-sign-jeremy-lin
Ken Berger @KBergCBS What Hou pays Lin and what he counts against cap are two different things. For Knicks, cap hit and salary would've been i-(clap)-dentical. He makes a My Cousin Vinny reference. Love this guy.
Man if we dont get Howard or Bynum this move wont mean nothing but the more I watch our rookies play I rather have Lin and the young talkent grow together ...but im for whatever ..........150 % Rockets blood in my veins !
They got a lottery pick for Lowry and that is the biggest trade chip that could well net Dwight Howard. So, you kind of fail at this whole thinking about basketball thing.
Not exactly, he's more a star in name than in established game. He's not a lead dog on a championship team but put him with Howard, Asik, and Lee with the young talent we have and you may have a hell of a team in two years.

Lol, that was funny. I was pumped up about Jeremy Lin for about an hour, and I'm already hating it already.
I'll believe it when he's playing the 17th regular season game with three forms of ID pasted on his forehead.
While having Lin as the starting PG for the Rockets is a nice story, I am still a little skeptical on his handles. His turnovers last season were well documented, and amongst heavy ball pressure he tends to get stripped a lot like in the Miami Heat game with the 8 turnovers. With Lowry and Dragic running the point I was never nervous while they dribbled up the court but when watching Lin I would constantly get sweaty palms wondering if he would lose the ball.
from an ESPN article - a New York source close to Knicks management: ...and this is why New Yorkers are morons. They are so focused on themselves and how cool New York is suppose to be that they don't even realize there is a whole entire world of people out there who don't give a rat's ass about New York. I bet Lin will make even more in international endorsements playing for a Houston team that is clearly a favorite in the Asian community. Personally, I'm not necessarily sold on Lin but I know New York certainly didn't deserve him.
