JERRY LIN TO THE ROCKETS!!! <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/1QCYys449FA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Well, I'm a Morey fan, a big one, and I can only see this as a way to draw Dwight to the Chinese market. Don't like the move from a basketball perspective. I mean, people were saying bye to Dragic when he asked for 8m/y on a half season or so worth of great play.... Now the board goes gaga over Lin, at 8+m/y, based on what...2 weeks of great play? If we land Dwight, fantastic, win for Morey in every way, even if we lose Lamb. Outside that, I think it's a bad move, score first PG's who don't play D are just not my fancy. And don't give me the whole 8 assist a game thing when it was 7 TO's a game.
I have to think it's a different Chinese base. Lin is American, I can't imagine people in Beijing feel as strongly about him as they do Yao, but there will certainly be a section of them that follow our Lin.
Sam Amick The Rockets have not yet received word on whether the Knicks are matching their three-year, $25.1 million offer sheet for Jeremy Lin, per source. The impeccable Howard Beck of the New York Times is reporting the Knicks will not match.
In recent days, two people briefed on the Knicks’ deliberations said it was unlikely the team would keep Lin. Yet both cautioned that the decision was not final and would ultimately be made by one person: James L. Dolan, the Madison Square Garden chairman.
WE HAVE A MOTHER****** POINT GUARD!!!!!! This is so huge to the development of our draft picks. A good point guard who looks to pass to the open man will work wonders with this young team! YAY!
