We accept your surrender, Nyc. Mauurrry! <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/hoy_en_la_revolucion/7484244472/" title="dareeell by *The last son of krypton*, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7121/7484244472_2650025935.jpg" width="500" height="375" alt="dareeell"></a>
The Knicks have announced they will not match Houston's offer for PG Jeremy Lin, meaning he will be joining the Rockets, according to Al Iannazzone of Newsday. Lin will join the Rockets on a three-year, $25.1 million deal and could slide right into the starting point guard role for Houston if he can beat out Toney Douglas for the job (and he should). The Knicks are going to get a backlash from Lin's fan base and the Rockets are going to be the new home of Linsanity, but the Knicks just thought that was too much money for a guy who would be their third-string point guard. HAHAH, I love it. Now that he's gone he was going to be "their 3rd string PG". Their coach already said he would start if he came back...
My first post here........ I happen to be a big Jeremy Lin fan......... I look forward to discussing the Rockets and their latest star player. The only other thing I'll tell you for now is you'll be surprised by Lin's defensive play. People who have not watched him play will say he's a poor defender, but those who have watched him play will realize he's one of the better defensive PGs in the league. (A big reason why the Knicks started winning when he played big minutes.) A glimpse of that can be seen here.......... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VRmfwKxqe4Q http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0C0rrW8Fcw Lin's biggest impact will be late in the 4th quarter in close games. His PER in the last 10 minutes of the game is in the top 10 in the league, for all players. For point guards, he's second to only Chris Paul in this regard. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GILVlqsBux0 My biggest concern with Lin? He did get hurt and missed the last month of last season, including playoffs. Durability is the biggest concern. (Could be why the Knicks didn't match the offer.) But if he's healthy, he'll bring wins to this team.
The Jeremy Lin Experience as Poetry? Yes, it's here if you can handle it. It gets better if you stick with it <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/jdS11u1ScN0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I really have not expected this. NYK will lose milions on this. We will make milions. The kid is a great player and even a better marketing ploy. This is huge for Houston.
Rockets are back: <iframe src="https://embed.spotify.com/?uri=spotify:track:2kCaE6TBxGEQCq5YEJ0vfb" width="300" height="380" frameborder="0" allowtransparency="true"></iframe>
I won't believe it's official until the deadline has passed. But, if it happens, Lin, Lamb, Parsons, Jones, and Moti would make a fine young lineup.
Espn being stupid and saying Houston is putting him in a class with deron Williams and Chris Paul because of the year three money, not understanding that we are paying the average, not the actual
