I'm thinking something more like this but with Yao as Mark Cuban, Lin as Dirk, and Morey as Steve Nash.
darren rovell @ darrenrovell 49s +1 RT @eLonePB A great trolling idea suggested on @NetsDaily . Nets should announce a trade-in-your-Lin-gear for a free Nets shirt.
If Knicks don't match, my gut feeling is that the basketball people won over the marketing guys in that organization. Mike Woodson was never high on Lin, I notice that he was always yelling at Lin even when he was the assistant coach. For some reason, he probably doesn't see Lin as that good. Even though Dolan makes the call ultimately, the only explanation is that they don't think Lin is that good for that kind of money.
Why would he be disgruntled? He might be the second scoring option depending on Parsons and D-Mo. I will be disgruntled though, Jeremy Lin and Jeremy Lamb. Talk radio will be unbearable. Didn't anyone think about Clyde Drexler when making this roster?
Yes!!! Welcome to Houston JLin. Very good sign, there is no J Lin jerseys for sell at their NYK store http://www.nyknicksstore.com/mens-list/index.php?v=knicks_jerseys_mens&view=list
The way the team is currently set up, Lin will be the first scoring option. However, it seems like better than 50% chance we get either Dwight or Bynum, and if so they will be the #1 option.
IMO, this was JLin best game as a Knick..... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/vLkfORBEm-Y" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Scott Hanson @ScottHanson Talk hoops for a sec: was in China last week, multiple ppl asked me about Lin. The Rockets assumed mktg strategy angle might have legs. This is Scott Hanson from NFL Red Zone fame....Interesting to hear from a sports guy not necessarily tuned into the NBA.
