Academic, he will out-poll 6 better point guards in the West.

    And I'm OK with that.

Assuming this is on the level, and it increasingly looks like it is, get ready for banners in the Toy Box with Yao and Lin promoting stuff connected to the Rockets like crazy. Yao and Lin on billboards. Yao and Lin doing TV commercials. It's going to be crazy, especially if Lin has a good season. Hell, I'm looking forward to it! It was beginning to look like the ball boy would be our starting point guard.

He can come back, even for a season or two. Coming out of retirement seems to be a trend these days.

Ok, on to the backup PG position.

Is Ish Smith available? I know he was an unrestricted F/A this year. Was he signed by anyone?

Will this mark the return of strange SINA stories?

Excellent. Morey as usual 1 step ahead.

This guy did well for us when we had him. I'd feel good if he was the backup.

    I can see it now....

Bill- "Jeremy passes to Jeremy, now back to Jeremy, to Jeremy, to Jeremy, to Jeremy and back to Jeremy to HOWARD FOR THE SLAM!!"

    Clyde- "Like clubbin' baby seals!"

I'm pretty positive that he still lives here part of the time. His family has the Yao Restaurant and Bar on 9755 Westheimer in Houston. I don't expect Yao to come out of retirement, but rather to go into business with Lin, at least making commercials. It's a natural fit. Yao has been described as Lin's mentor. They're supposed to talk frequently on the phone, from what I've heard. One report I read said it was daily.

"He was ok'd to play in game 5 of the Heat series" lol-so says NYK during the playoffs
Lin should be a good started, and a better Ish Smith...Superstar I doubt it
I do know he can score the ball, and has a hard work ethic...which may
benefit us beyond even his Asian sensation following...We'll Les
is happy now. Les wants Howard now, and he's ready to do whatever possible
    for Morey....GO MOREY!!!
Genius idea, and people wanted us to balk to Nets by signing up Lopez
What an idea to watch them waste cap room, and boom up the ante:p
