    The Lin smear campaign is already in full effect.

    I guess everyone is just going to conveniently ignore that he is the reason the Knicks even made the playoffs. The roster around him during Linsanity would have won 1-2 games tops without him and they were dead in the water.

    Exactly. Just like Morey planned.

    Convince Yao to use his leverage against Les (which at this point is what, exactly?), to force him to up the offer, then leak news of it to noted Rockets mouthpiece Stephen A. Smith. Just to have an excuse in place. For why he's paid a little more than the original offer.

    "guys, I only wanted to give him $6 million a year for 4 years. Yao made Les make me give him $8 million a year for 3."

    Brilliant and subtle. He really is playing chess when others are playing checkers.
