    I think you meant to say that the Rockets salvaged their undersized shooting guard situation -- right?

    Just kidding actually, I think this is an exciting pickup. I'm a little worried that Lin can be exceptional for a whole year against teams gearing up to stop him, but his youth and fit in McHale's offense make me a little more optimistic. I personally think it is a mistake, but I like the Lin story and hope that fears are unjustified.

    except, what would Yao get out of this? He isnt gonna play with Lin in a Rockets uni. SO it makes no sense.

    I believe it. But I also believe someone can change their mind before midnight. Crazier things have happened. I'll wait until then to call it done.

    There's still the chance this could also be the biggest mind ***** with the Rockets and the Knicks swoop in when the bell tolls.

    Player option for year 4 killed the Goran deal. If Lin wanted a player option he wouldn't get a deal too
