I'd feel better if Lovie's defense at Illinois didnt give up 35ppg in 2020. Should be interesting. He says that his defense is better suited for the NFL so there's that LOL!
Dude makes 4 mil a year watching football and talking, he could care less about who is on the field. You know how when you tell your woman you're going to take her out on a date and she ask "what restaurant are we going to?", you tell her, she goes to their website, downloads their menu and then she spends the next two days putting her order together, that's what Greg Gumbel is doing right now with the nrg menu. His greatest concern in life right now is roast beef or those good ass jalapeno lobster rolls, poor b*stard.
I can see it being better in NFL because he has better athletes at his disposal at linebacker. But it’s still a system that has been figured out for a while and very dependent on front 4 getting pressure. They’ve done that in preseason, will see if it continues
All we need to do is find this teams versions of Brian Urlacher, Peanut Tillman, Lance Briggs, Alex Brown, and Tommie Harris. EASY!
Right lol I actually think our front 7 can be ok, safety play will be solid. If corners can just play their zones and decent man when running man 2 they’ll be ok. I thought our personnel last year was better suited for a 4-3
I thought that was weird too... but then realized both networks will have concurrent double-headers this week. CBS actually has two marquee games in the 3pm slot, thus both Nantz and Harlan are pushed to there. Ian Eagle gets the best of the noon games (Buffalo-Pittsburgh). Between Gumble, Dedes, Catalon, McCarthy... you could basically interchange any of them for any non top-3 game. CBS does have an announcing talent problem. Fox (minus Jack Buck's son) has actually never had more talent all around.
Ahh 2 more days til Clay Walker sings the anthem for the thousandth time. 2 Days til ppl get to go out and watch Deshaun do his thing. oh wait
Not...surprised... You can get into Texans game for same price as two dozen Shipley donuts Matt Young, Chron.com / Houston Chronicle Sep. 10, 2021 A fan seated among the foam hands in the stands during warmups before the start of an NFL preseason football game at NRG Stadium, Saturday, August 28, 2021. Karen Warren/Staff photographer The Texans have sold out every home game in franchise history, but that doesn’t mean it’s always hard to score a ticket to a game. This season, it probably will have never been easier. If you want to get into Sunday’s season opener against the Jaguars, $21 – or about the cost of two dozen donuts from Shipley – will do the trick on the resale market. As of Friday afternoon, there were two tickets available in the upper deck in the corner of the end zone for $21 apiece on StubHub. The site lists 44 other tickets – all in the upper deck – for less than $25. Ticketmaster also offers resell tickets and has the cheapest ticket available listed at $20.79, plus numerous other tickets options for less than $25. That’s less than half the price of the next lowest ticket offering in the NFL. The Lions, who host the 49ers on Sunday, and Washington Football Team, who host the Chargers, have the next cheapest tickets available on StubHub at $44. Bills tickets are outrageous. Fresh off a trip to the AFC title game, the cheapest Bills’ tickets for Sunday’s opener against the Steelers are $152.
