Yep... they are 1/2 win and 1/2 loss. In a more realistic scenario a 10-6-1 team will make the playoffs over a 10-7 team, because they are officially 10.5-6.5.
Jags - 24 Texans - 9 Going to be a long season but at least I can throw $5 at Texans ML every game and hope for an upset.
I think I'd be disappointed if they win too much. Similarly to the Rockets this season, you want to see growth, especially out of the younger players, and you want to see them be competitive. But tanking has to be the goal. Them overachieving to be a 6-11 or 7-10 team would set the franchise back in the rebuild even more than they already are. It's sad to have that mindset going into Week 1, but that's where we're at with this dumpster fire of a franchise. At least we have a sliver of hope with a competent GM, but that's pretty much all we've got.
I looked it up, a long, long time ago ties didn't count at all in the NFL, it was like you played one fewer game. So back then if you tied every game it would be the same as if you lost every game. They went on win percentage so a one win team would beat out a team with no games that counted. They changed it a long time ago, but for whatever reason I still had the old system in my head.
Lol, right. That doesn't change the fact that I still had the wrong rules in my head. The skyscraper in the Galleria area is still Transco Tower, Lakewood Church is still the Summit. I dunno.
Texans 13 Jags 31 Gonna be an ugly season, boys. We're about to make Trevor Lawrence the new ESPN darling.
This game will be closer than it needs to be. The Jags are a mess(I have 0 faith in Urban Meyer, NFL head coach) and they’re roster isn’t as talented as it seems. But they look like a well oiled machine compared to the Texans, who need to/should go 0-17. #winslowforthibideaux
After losing their best player on defense now the Texans are trading arguably their second best. I guess that matches the offense that lost best and second best (Watson and Fuller). 0-17 baby.
