No, you're right. There is establishing the run then there is what the Texans do which is forcing the run no matter what giving the defense 2 free downs and pin back their ears on the pass play that's coming on 3rd down. Sometimes that'll happen to the best running teams but we are not one of those teams. Don't have the defense to be giving out 3 & outs all game. Other ways to 'establish' a running game.

One of BoB's biggest problems was he believed you had to use all 3 downs to get a first down.

Get the run game going???? How clueless do you have to be to say that after last week? Unbelievable. Put him in gun and spread it out. The whole game. Period.

A first round pick would probably double the number. Also, Greenard has been a no show. That doesn't help. Forgot we even drafted Charlie Heck, to be honest. Coulter is on IR. John Reid and Blacklock are the only two to play, I believe. What a disaster.

I know O'Brien had said we'd consider this a redshirt year for rookies, but he seems to have been the only coach following that. The others around the league have successfully eased their rookies into the game plan by adding more and more snaps each week.

Will be interesting to see how this works going forward.

Houston is notorious for not using their rookies.

The Texans will celebrate O'Briens departure with a blowout win over Jacksonville.

Today, RAC (73) becomes the oldest HC in an NFL game (Halas, Levy - 72).

Let's make history count and get the DUB

After a failed attempt at figuring out some geometry with some weird woodworking last week I'm going to watch this game. Thanks for not being here anymore billy, my brain couldn't take anymore.
