Exactly Bungle. Tell em how it is. I am completely fed up with this crap! I'm glad I did'nt waste my 300 dollars on Sunday Ticket! But let's all us good Texans fans just close our eyes and tell ourselves that the sun will rise again tommorrow. Demand a refund on your season tickets and boycott these bums!
Frank Bush needs to bounce. He has a horrible scheme. The talent is there, but with his "reads" and play calling, the Texans defenders look down right lost and confused. even with his astonishing 3 blitzes a game the Texans barely get penetration.
As for replays: I was always under the impression that the replay officials are using the same video feeds we get on the TV broadcasts. There aren't any other special cameras in use so to speak. And the video from the endzone clearly shows the ball coming out before Brown crossed the goal line which is what the replay official looked at when he made his decision.
Exactly. And actually, if you watch the replay, the refs blew the whistle at 2:02. After the challenge, they should have reset to 2:02 on the Jags 1st play, which would have given us even more time had Mario not gone bone-head.
If it occurs at the 2:00 mark, is that considered to be "in the last 2 minutes" or is it one second out of it? IMO, it's "in that last 2 minutes". But if that were the case, the fumble should have been reviewed by the booth.
But the Jets won again... so maybe the first game is only half a loss? Focus should be directed back to the defense here. They get all the blame. Offense was questionable in the second half, but they did enough to win... especially against this Jaguars team. But, it doesn't matter how good the offense was... if they can't stop anybody. Hell, even if Brown had scored, or the WR pass intereference hadn't happened, do you guys really think our defense could stop the Jags from ramming the ball down our throat and getting a game-winning FG with the clock expiring? That fumble they got late was a great individual play... but it had nothing to do with the overall defense. They were beyond bad today.... against a below average offensive team.... somebody should be fired for that.
You would think that he would, but I seriously doubt it....he asked for the challenge...... Let's see what they say in the presser afterwards...if it is not even mentioned that he asked the refs if they would review it in the 2 minute rule...then we will know. I am guessing he didn't bother even asking. DD
the requirement for a team to have what you call a "bandwagon" is that this team gets hot and starts winning games for an extended period of time (ie: 22 game winning streak for the Rockets, everyone and their mothers became hardcore fans) the Texans have been nothing but complete $h!t the entire time.. I keep saying "next year is gonna be the year", but apparently it doesn't work that way with this team. I'm tired of this crap
If they lose next week . . . .. I think that is more an example of a lost team than him losing them at that point The Raiders are not a GOOD team. Texans simply have to take them as seriously as they did the Titans. Rocket River
It is not defined by when the play starts but when it finishes.....and 2 minutes...is....2 minutes. DD
This game, just like the Titans game, was all on the defense. You don't tackle, you're gonna get run over.
We blitz a helluva lot more than that.... its just that there's no innovation to it, that the defense easilly picks it up most of the time. You need talent for offense... but you can coach up a defense based on your scheme. We have high paid guys on defense... I don't know if you can really call that talent.
It's always been after the 2 minute warning. You can call the review at the 2 min warning. It may not be explicit, but the refs were right in that case.
Prove it.....I provided a link to support my 2 minutes case......prove that it is UNDER 2 minutes.....because the rule says....2 minutes..... Nothing all that ambiguos about it to me. Not true, the 2 minute warning can be at 1:59 or lower because it starts when the last play ends....please prove your point....use links and real info to back it up. Thanks. DD
I say 2 million of us should get pickforks, torches, and enema bags and bumrush Kubiak and McNairs' homes like the Colombians did Tony Montana. We can torture these idiots until they can't hold the rubbing alcohol enemas in anymore. God they make me sick!
