Wow Dunta has fallen off. Amazing considering he used to be my favorite Texan along with AJ a few years ago. Frustrating defense to watch, led by Dunta's missed tackles and poor coverage.
How, is he supposed to have another set of eyes? Dude, this is all happening within a couple of seconds. It's not like he has minutes to disect the situation. He sees a wide open receiver, and Garrard throws the ball to him. It's in his vicinity. In the last split second, the ball is tipped and goes away. When he sees Holt running free, Wilson knows he's too late. He's not watching the ball. The only chance he has in that situation is to nail the receiver and make him drop it. You're asking for defenders' knees to snap all over the place if you want them to stop on a dime like that.
Schaub is just too easy, he gets rattled, he can't escape pressure....and his arm is suspect, none of those deep throws are zipped. I really would like to have an above average QB in Houston...it is just maddening. DD
If the old adage about the team that blocks the best and tackles best winning has any truth in it, the Texans deserve to lose. What happened to the team that we saw last week?
