They're not even looking Dunta's way... picking on Bennett and Busing. Both are a step behind/late on their coverage.

 

I've never seen a player regress from year 1 to year 3 as bad as Fred Bennett has!!! He is just not very good!

 

I wanna know why Bennett was playing zone in that play where he allowed the receiver to get behind him. Seems the playcalling for the coverage is suspect.

 

Either they keep extra defenders back (who are actually in a position to do something, which Busing has not been all day), or they better damn well be sure to get to the QB.

Right now, they're trying to blitz... with as many schemes possible (stunts, delays, all-out), and they haven't gotten close to Garrard.

That is the real problem.

 

Frank Bush and Fred Bennett suck.

 

Worst. Defense. In the league.

It's a sad state of affairs when I'm actually pining for Richard Smith to come back.
