He's just mad because he wants to hype up Reggie and smear it in our and the organizations faces. What he doesnt get is, at this moment Reggie is no better than Eric Metcalf PERIOD. He wants us to believe that Reggie will be the next Barry Sanders. jgreen91, this just in, Bush may be talented but right now he could not even hold Barry's jockstrap. Bush is NOT an every down back, Barry WAS. Bush has a good OL, Barry rarely EVER had a good OL. Furthermore, Barry was simply spectacular. He improvised his ass off. Every play he was a threat to go the distance to the endzone. Barry invented moves they have yet to put in the dictionary because simple words dont do it justice.

So by all means, do keep playing both sides of the fence as you will. We know which side of the fence you REALLY stand on. You're not fooling anyone here.

I mean Mario AGAIN does good. 1 sack (regardless of HOW he got it. He GOT it! Got it?), 1 fumble recovery and several hurries forcing underthrows or overthrows.

You see I may be critical when it calls for it, such as: after the Deadskin game but, I also will give credit where credit is due and the fact of the matter is Mario is starting to catch on and when his confidence on the field equals his talent and abilities LOOK OUT because IMO we are already seeing glimpses of him dominating and taking over games.

BTW, without him, the Texans dont beat the Fins. His sacks forced a 3 and out which led to a further stretching of the lead. He tipped away the 2 pt conversion that potentially would've tied the game up and who knows after that. Just wanted to add those facts about our first round bust.

...if RB actually does become truly great, it will look more like Marshall Faulk than Barry Sanders.

And even then, you have to see what Marshall Faulk had on his team to really showcase his skills: MVP QB, two all-pro WR's, HOF-calibur left tackle, an offensive innovater as a coach.

That made Faulk an MVP calibur player from 1999 - first half of 2002. 3.5 years... which is pretty valuable... but its still merely 3.5 years.

That was probably one of the best all around games in the 5 years of Texans football.

No, jgreen, I am not delusional. We need to see it again next week. Yes, Leftwich should have been pulled and played terrible. Yes, they dropped passes. Yes, they have some key defensive players missing. However, the Texans did something they've had trouble doing as long as they've been around. They actually took advantage of the other team's mistakes. 14 points on 2 turnovers is fantastic. They turn the ball over and you have to make them pay. The Texans did just that. In the 3rd quarter, they didn't panic and start the whole "here we go again" s***. This was simply a very well played football game.

If you can't enjoy this, why do you even pay attention?

As encouraged as I was by the running, I want to see them execute at least reasonably well against a team with a solid D-Line--the Jags' D-Line was pretty banged up Sunday.

Trade for Bush so he won't have to jock him from afar....

So you're saying no wins will make you feel good? Because if we win a game, that means we played better than the other team. So they didn't play up to par, meaning the win still leaves you unhappy.

So....doesn't every team then play aweful in 90% of their losses? Sooooo....wouldn't thatmake EVERY team in the NFL winning games only because the other team played aweful?

Dang, what got into the Texans on Sunday. Did somebody spray paint and bash up Mario's car.

You're getting jumped on because you've lost all credibility prior to this point (and rightfully so). However, beneath that biased and hate-fueled post does lurk a decent point (I think). So, allow me to take a stab at interpreting your post, and please tell me if I'm right or wrong (everyone else keep in mind this isn't my belief):

"We, as Texans fans, should not be content with a 2-4 record. It's great that the team is improving, and as a Texans fan, I sincerely hope it continues. However, in order to pressure the team to consistently perform at a high level, we should be more demanding of the team and organization in general. Any Texans win is a definite cause for celebration, but there is an inherent danger in celebrating minor victories as major ones, as doing so may anchor our future expectations too low. And if the expectation bar is set too low, we run the risk of becoming satisfied with mere mediocrity, like fans of the Clippers and Bengals in the 90's. Thus, we must be harsh even in victory to ensure championship-caliber performance."

    Hey, I'm trying here...
