They’ve got to be able to figure out a routine where Javier can get some consistency in between outings.
I think these are the perfect situations for him… pair him up with a starter that is less likely to go long (Odorizzi, Greinke). I’m just not sure what sort of routine he has in between appearances. And if he does have one, they should probably alter it to try and get more consistency.
Javier couldn't hit the broad side of a barn if you gave him 7 chances and 5 mulligans. You can't trust a reliever who can't throw strikes.
