Spiders would have been way better. Guardians sucks big time... On a positive note though, the Astros may no longer have the worst name in baseball.
Not sure what kind of bias this. There are three teams literally named after the socks they wear. Another two at least on generic birds. One team is named after people walking on a street that has poor drivers. One is still derogatory to Native Americans. Nationals. One is a reference to them being a sports team. One means jerk (though more derogatory) from the north.
Astros swept them the last time they played which was the beginning of their 11 game win streak. They've played 3 series against each other and all 3 series have been sweeps one way or the other, 2-1 Astros.
I do not remember whether I was First a Fan of ASTROnauts, Astro, the Jetson's dog or the Astros Baseball team. But I was good with all of them. I specifically remember watching the launch of Gemini 4 live and earlier launches were probably tapes. The Astros were not on the local radio until later and the Jetsons were already on reruns. So I probably began with ASTROnauts quickly followed by the others AND I dream of Jeani. I've always loved ASTRO anything.
