Oh me too. She knew it was fair and she was upset. She should have stuck with the I’m sorry @Astros he’s still in trouble.
Gattis constantly seems to fail in these runner on 3rd with less than 2 outs situations. But sure let's give him another 20 games because he happened to hit a HR. ETA: That inning was a huge fail for multiple reasons.
Gattis is hitting with (before today): RISP: .250 .313 .429 .741 2 out RISP: .250 .308 .583 .891 He's only had about 10 PAs with a runner on 3rd and less than 2 outs this year. He was a monster last year in both of those categories. (OPS way over .900)
I wonder if there would be any value to maybe skipping Keuchal’s next start and giving it to McHugh. Dude is rotting on the bench and he may give us a better chance at winning. Yea keuchal as a number 5 is a good problem to have. Then again Klubber is a Cy Young winner and probably relished to opportunity to play the champs today so maybe this just had loss written all over it.
Going into this game, Keuchel was in the top 15 in the AL in ERA. I love McHugh, but odds of him outperforming that are pretty low. We're just spoiled by having a bunch of guys with ERAs in the 1's, but realistcally, that's not sustainable. Keuchel is pitching like a #2 starter on an average team or #3 starter on a good team. There's zero reason to change anything up with him.
