Eh, bounce back against Clevinger tomorrow and hope Fiers keeps them to 2 HRs or less. Good teams lose. Nationals, Yankees, Baltimore, and these very Indians are all 4-6 in last ten.
4 runs... 2 on a crappy Crawford box hr. He didnt pitch well, but he could have been far worse and went 6 innings. Bats were needed more. Again we were facing a guy who other teams knock around. Considering how good that pen is, 3 runs was clearly not enough.
Morton went 5.1 and gave up 4 ER against a team who has struggled to score runs... many of his outs were hit hard. Of course our bats scoring more runs would be great, but we're not gonna crush every pitcher other teams crush. Bauer's ERA this game was 4.77... he didn't dominate. Morton's ERA tonight was 6.75, at home. Let's just hope we don't swept, then come back stronger thereafter.
Season is done. What a bunch of bums. Rangers will overtake us and win the World Series. The sky is falling. Rabble Rabble Rabble
Even if this team wins 100 games they are going to lose 62 of them. So get used to it. And yes my math is amazing. This series is still right there for the taking anyways.
