[Official] Indians @ Astros

Considering I think the national anthem being played before a sporting event is stupid, I think you can guess my opinion on this one.

 

This was my first Astros game in a long time, and I'm glad I experienced it.

 

Hopefully, I can have a good chance to go to MMP during the season. As thankful as I am to see them on TV again (Thank You ROOT), I really miss experiencing the game day atmosphere in the flesh! Here's to a great season fans!

Both rox and stros are suppose to play on root, what's the deal?? Who plays on what channel?? Trying to set the DVR.

 

The Astros are currently in sole possession of first place in the AL West...

 

I've been trying to figure this out for the past two days! I still don't know for sure. One guide data I have seen for Comcast is that Root Sports is showing Rockets/Spurs...possibly Astros playing on an alternate channel???

The Astros are on Root 2 HD. It's 710 on Comcast, not sure about other carriers. Can't find it in SD, if you are without HD (these people still exist, I can't watch SD anymore, I've become spoiled)

At this point in the season, the Rockets take priority so they are on the main channel.

 

Day off after the first game never made sense to me for teams with roofed stadiums.

 

Opening day always on a Monday, but Monday usually a travel day during the season.

The off day on Tuesday helps to set the "normal" schedule for the season, but still allows for every team to play on opening day.

 

Only problem I've seen on the alternate channel for Uverse is that sometimes there's no volume. Happened on a couple of the Dynamo games already.
