No passes like that, Yates... Should just go deep to the sidelines here, if complete great... if incomplete, run the clock out on third down.

Kubiak agrees... he just pulled the plug on that drive after that. No need to get fancy.

Alright Kubes... go into that lockeroom and install an awesome first drive script for the second half. Yates can make the throws you want him to.

exactly. we get the ball to begin the 3rd quarter so I'm fine with just running the clock out.

After that last pass by Yates, good decision. We have the ball to start the 3rd.

We need to come out and get a TD to start the second half.

No timeouts played a role in that... no need to try and force something that Atlanta wasn't willing to give up.

we usually wear down the other team's offense as the game goes on, you can already see receivers hesitant going over the middle

Not even an attempt at some out routes though. It's just disheartening to not even try.

Except for the Saints and Baltimore game.

But, yeah.... looks like Wade made some adjustments from the potential bombs that could have burned us.

No sacks yet... that should change for the second half.

Well, what their defense does plays a role in that too. What do you think their #1 priority would be in that situation... guard against all sideline deep and out routes. Let them pass over the middle and run the ball.

Sometimes if the defense isn't allowing it, you either have to force it (not advised) or play conservative.
