No. Harden is an amazing player that I am so glad that I am able to root for, but he is in absolutely no way making Hakeem obsolete. And no matter what he does for the rest of his career, he never will. Even if he ends up being a better player and having a better career than Hakeem (not likely, but hypothetically) it will still not make what Hakeem did for us obsolete and my memories of rooting for him disappear. That said- Harden's numbers for this week are 37.3/12.5/9.8? That's insane!
