It does suck, but for crying out loud it was a 5 run lead. That should be enough.

Seriously want to know what Diaz was thinking on that foul ball (not HBP)…. Did he literally do nothing? Either way, he has to either be more vocal/less passive, and maybe bring some of that same attitude to getting these pitchers to not have heads in their asses moments (or they’re all going to request Caratini, lol).

No - that was more on Brown and Espada than Montero.

Brown just isn’t a starting big league pitcher. He struggles to give you 5 innings.

 

Their division is ass like always.

 

if yordan doesn't come through on the next AB, he's broken if you take out his stats against the rockies in MXC.

 

Little league catchers know the difference between a HBP and a foul ball.

I still can’t believe Diaz didnt’ react at all to a ball that goes off the knob, hits him in the chest protector, and the umpire calls it a HBP.
