Yeah no way we have the easier schedule in August. In September we go through a stretch where we play the Royals 6 times and A's 3 times.
Bullpen really starting to hit its stride. Montero Lord help us Maton/Mushinski pre 7th Stanek inning eater/various roles Graveman/Neris/Abreu 7th/8th Pressly Closer
Correct, schedule is tough through the 10th of September and then we cruise to the end of the season. I think we will go on a 14-4 tear to end the season and finish with 98 wins and a 1 seed in the AL. Astros 98-64 (36-17 finish) Orioles 97-65 Twins 83-79 Rays 95-67 Rangers 94-68 Blue Jays 92-70 Remember the Orioles and Rays playing a lot of divisional games down the stretch and will beat up on each other (1st 5 team division to all have above .500 record?).
All those teams ahead of us have also been around WAY longer than this franchise (like 60+ yrs) What schedule are you looking at where from Sept 10th we "cruise to the end of the season"?? BALT 3 gms KC 3 gms @ SEA 3 gms @ AZ 3 gms
Chas went out and played so well this year that Dusty looks like a complete idiot not putting him in the every day lineup.
Glad we didn’t trade him for help elsewhere. It’s guys like him you love rooting for a little more. Hope he keeps it up the rest of the year. We’ll need every bit.
Man what schedule are YOU looking at? OAK 3 @KC 3 BALT 3 KC 3 @SEA 3 @AZ 3 I've got 8-1 vs KC and OAK. I've got 6-3 vs BALT, SEA and AZ. I've got Arizona out of the playoff race and nearly .500 record by that last weekend. They have been mediocre for the better part of a month now. Same for Seattle, out of the race completely.

True, but Sox have Cease on the mound and The Rangers are rocking him early. Got to give The Rangers credit. They’ve been incredibly hard to catch
