We need Correa, period. 1. Marinisek 2. Altuve 3. Springer 4. Gatis 5. Valbuena 6. Carter 7. Castro 8. Correa 9. Rasmus
Would like to see them swap Altuve & Marisnick. Don't see why they would move Jose from the leadoff spot where he has been great. I'd stick Correa in the 3 hole Asap.
lolololol at Correa hitting 8. Altuve Correa Springer Valbuena Gattis Rasmus Carter Castro Marisnick Probably what I would go with. I love Marisnick in the 9 hole

First really bad start McHugh or Keuchel has made this year, a few of these were bound to happen. With Springer and Lowrie out, this lineup is bad, no way around it. Don't know how much longer we can continue to be patient with Carter. Singleton went deep again today, and at a certain point we need to call him up and give him another shot. Not that I'm confident about him, but he has to come back up eventually.
Altuve less likely to GIDP or K with a runner on.... and again, the "order" in the lineup is basically a non-factor after the first few innings. Marisnick has been batting in front of Altuve basically ALL YEAR (as he was in the 9 hole ahead of this). And with Marisnick having a hot bat, moving him up gets him at least one more AB a game.
Its time to give Singleton another shot. He is hitting well right now and Carter has been trash all year.
^ no Luhnow is just letting the hate build for himself here. What reason is there to keep trotting out Carter when you can give Singleton a chance. I mean you can make some lame excuses for not calling coerea up but the other guys out there are playing <= replacement level and won't be getting any better. Looks like he pretty much wasted a year of McCullers career too.
just one of those days where errors kept happening. only 3 earned runs. just get that one out of your system and start playing .500 ball til mid june.
