Eh, he' aiight I guess. My only hope for this series (scoring at least 1 run) is well on its way to not happening
Yikes. Tough game. Much of the offense (See: Pence, Hunter and Lee, Carlos) that we really need to come through struggled badly. Pence's at-bats were like clockwork. Even when Lincecum hung a breaking ball, he didn't have a chance.
I hear that the 'Stros are already planning several HEB giveaway nights starting in June- free paper bags to wear over your head for the first 10,000 fans.
Jesus Christ, Pence batting in the 3rd hole is horrific. We really need Berkman to come back fast. Pence is not the person you want infront of LEE.
Yikes. Well, apparently I didn't miss much. I had to work, so I set the DVR to record the game on ESPN2....but all Igot was ESPNnewsHD because the game was on FSN. BAH!!!!!!
Ouch, I've done that before. All in all, it wasn't a completely terrible night. Roy pitched rather well after his struggles in the 2nd. Also, Kaz played well with two hits which would be a huge bonus if he could stay healthy and be more consistent. Also, Sammy came in and pitched a nice inning. Has to be the most entertaining pitcher as well with his stance before going into the stretch. Gotta love it.
Sometimes FS Houston will replay the game later in the night. If it's not on now check around midnight. It's probably not worth it for today's game but maybe that will help you in the future. Edit: According to the TV listings on foxsportshouston.com they will replay the Astros-Giants game at midnight. http://www.foxsportshouston.com/pages/tvlisting_texas
Horror of horrors. They lost to one of the best pitchers in baseball. Personally, if I were the manager and my team had a history of not hitting Lincecum, I would have started Wandy and had Oswalt go against Zito.
