    Giants are miserable.

In that 6th inning I saw one of the most incompetent play I have ever seen.

bases loaded walks to berkman and the pitcher.

    bases loaded hBP

That's Mike Gallo territory right there.

Anyone remember that game we lost when Gallo hit a batter to walk in the winning run in extra innings?

Yup, I also remember that cocky smirk on Gallo's face whenever he was on the mound. He never seemed to recognize that he was sucking it up. Everthing was a fluke in his eyes.

I'd feel a little more optimistic if the Brewers hadn't acquired Sabathia. Sheets/Sabathia will likely carry that team to the wild card along with their relatively light remaining schedule.

Then just enjoy the wins. Who knows what will happen. The Brewers have a tendency to implode around this time every year. Either way, I just glad to see them play good ball, even without the rbi machine...aka Carlos Lee.

I'm enjoying the wins. Did I say otherwise? I'm just telling it like I see it. Doesn't mean I don't like see the Astros playing well. If it makes you feel better, anything is possible. But you should already know that.

I just got home from the game. What a crazy way to score 6 runs. 7 in a row though. We will take it anyway we can get it.

At least its the Brewers and not the freaking Cardinals. I cannot still get over the fact that they won the WS after barely being .500 over the regular season.

I hear you. If it's not the Astros, Fat Albert and crew are my next choice. That organization has been in the dumps for decades.

Brewers crater every year. Let's hope this year is no different.

Astros are 4-0 when Randy Wolf pitches.

I like The Wolf. I think everytime he takes the mound they ought to play that clip Samuel Jackson quote from Pulp Fiction? "Oh, you sending in the Wolf?? That's all you had to say!"

Yeah, the Astros picked the wrong year for this "that'll be enough for the Central!" nonsense, as the Central actually failed to suck this year.

Definitely agree with the school of thought that while our winning streak and playing better ball is awesome, other teams are continuing to play well in the wild card and in the division.

At this point, I'm just enjoying the wins even if we don't get into the playoffs with them. Pride and having something to build on is very much worth playing for this year.

    Let's sweep 'em!
