Lorreta is getting the start today. Hopefully this is the beginning of the Lorreta/Lamb platoon at third.

Morgan: .215 BA in 107 AB
Lorreta: .355 BA in 62 AB
Lamb: .375 BA in 48 AB

It's time for Ensberg to ride the pine.

Wow... the Giants (who own MMP) now have Klesko (who owns MMP).

    The possibilities are exponentially endless!

    Coach the Rockets?

But seriously... that was one of the most monsterous blasts by a righty Astro at MMP... perhaps only rivaled by one of Bagwell's shots.

We could always give him a go coaching the Rockets.

Adam gloves a ball that is an up the middle base-hit for most MLB defenses, and makes it look routine.

Never good when the inning is extended after two out, nobody on, and the pitcher up... this Lewis kid scares me (as does Klesko, as does Bonds, as does Durham).

    Hit an outside breaking ball.

I have no idea why that's not all he sees right now. Gotta think teams will catch on eventually.

He is, however, doing a good job of hitting to all fields.

Haven't seen him try to go the other way with outside offspeed stuff yet, he's flying open & trying to pull everything. Missed his last single, but the inside-out swing he put on Lowery's inside changeup for his first was very nice to see.

He did what they said he was doing a lot of recently at Round Rock... going the other way with outside pitches. He does have a tendency to fly open... which is something that the AAA folk tried to preach against when they started pitching him outside exclusively.
