Speaking of r****ded. If Lamb isn't starting at 3b tonight, Phil Garner is r****ded and should be fired.

With roughly the same number of career AB's vs Matt Morris: Lamb has a .300 avg with 3 HR's against Morris. Morgan has a .176 avg against him.

But, until Gar or Pup comes out and says MoBerg has lost his job or that they're going to a platoon, I wouldn't expect much. They believe that when performing at their peak, Ensberg is better than Lamb. So they think trying to get Morgan going is the better move in the long run.

From "This Day in Astros History" at Astrosdaily:

Here's hoping for a repeat performance! Berkman can play Jeff Bagwell, and Biggio will appear as himself!

I really feel the offense should ROCK Matt Morris tonight, despite his low ERA on the year.

    Especially Lambo.

If they don't, its a big dissapointment.

A: Woody Williams in the bottom of the third.
Q: What are things you'll never see in the AL, Alex.

Durham and the Giants OWN the Astros at MMP... and that's all without Bonds doing major damage.

I'm dissapointed that Morris got a quality start... we should have been able to rock him (at least we got 2 HR's off him).

Why leave Woody in there after he gives up 3 runs? Of course, he would allow another run in the next inning.

Garner got owned in that inning... sends up Ensberg to PH against the righty, and is forced to leave in Lamb to hit against the lefty.

    Ownage.

Why did he have to leave Lamb in there? If he wanted to, he could pinch hit and put the pitcher in the 2 spot and leave Ensberg in at 3B, no?

I guess we can add that to the list of ownage that inning. Seriously, Ensberg is only good at ONE thing on this team... and that's his numbers against lefties.

If we're not using him for that, in a textbook situation in a 1 run game, he's useless.

What's up with our managers against the Giants... Dierker was owner, Jimy was owned in 03, and now Garner.
