I seen it was recommended one eat 5 times a day Suppose to speed up the metabolism or something 5 small meals instead of 3 big ones Since it is also said to be best to eat no later that 8 [or 4 hours before bed] If you goto bed at midnight generally you have to fit 5 meals between 8 and 8 [ok I do] so Breakfast at 8 Lunch at 1 Dinner at 7:30 Problem I am running into is .. I'm not hungry before lunch [maybe i am eating too much breakfast but it does not seem to be too much . .cereal . .waffle . .something like that] Should one be eating every 3 hrs? 8, 11, 1, 4, 7? yes, eat every 3 hours....you can do light breakfast, snack, lunch, snack and dinner i do cereal, protein shakes or fruit with peanut butter, lunch, snack same as mid morning snack then dinner. small portions, though. NO big ones.
yesterday, i did my lower body(with squats and all) and stairmasters for 20 minutes. i'm really sore but that means it is working!
i think you're overanalyzing it. just remember that as long as your calories out > calories in, you will lose weight. the "no eating after 8" stuff is a myth.

thats a freaking hilarious idea...but he does have a point. i got to hit the gym hard tonight. the only curls i have been doing the last 4 days has been 12 ozs.
