    He's 1 of 7 from three and 7 of 17 overall

Farmar is 2 of 3 from three and 3 of 8 overall

Brown is 1 of 2 from three and 3 of 5 overall and has three steals, 1 more than Fisher and got it in half the time.

They've been more efficient than fisher, with the extra PT that can't be good for Houston. Brown and farmar like to run more, are more athletic, those hurt houston more than fisher's half court game.

Yeah and he also bricked some when we beat them last year...he's not anymore likely to be clutch than the average nba starter. I'd rather have Fisher goign for clutch shots than Farmar or Brown flying in for a backdoor alley oop.

B/C in the throat is an automatic suspension for 1 game according to league rules - hence, it must have been in the chest. The league can then claim that he was punished, yet it wont affect anything (apart from one free shot to start the game -- more drama for the nba)

Nothing. Kobe probably has to pay a fine, but it doesn't affect us at all.

Exactly. Don't admit it was in the throat and then Kobe gets to play and the NBA can still claim consistency in how it applies the punishment.

The ruling given to Kobe is total BS. His elbow can effect the outcome of game negatively, but the punishment doesn't. Straight BS.

We should be shooting a technical beginning of Game 3. Guess Kobe will have to reallocate the funds for what he spends on his monthly electric bill this month to pay this fine.

Losing Fisher really hurts them. Look at their playoff experience after him and Kobe. I see a big Brooks game Friday, as the other Laker points are going to be tight and nervous and weak sauced on the road in Houston.

    NBA is such $#$%%#.

It is convenient how that elbow only had a single angle camera shot. We can only see it from the back, which clearly reveals that it was in the upper collar bone to throat region.

Additionally, all the tacky fouls on TNT were never reshown.

NBA is a joke. Crawford is the Fixer.

Outside of haveing veteran on the floor I think this helps the Lakers, Farmar is a taller/longer defender on AB. If you noticed in the 4th Qtr, AB had a hard time inbounding the ball into Yao, and he had a few TOs trying to force some things.

I think he can do a better job of staying in front of Brooks. Just saying....Prove me wrong Aaron, Please!!!!

I think this is pretty much what everyone expected. The one thing this does is expose the Lakers to the nation as being cheap shot artists. I was surfing through some other boards, and it really seems like the fans of other teams are really pulling for the Rockets in this series. Kobe is just a flat-out unlikeable guy whose smugness and douchebaggery is really wearing thin on EVERYBODY. Stern and ESPN are REALLY trying to forcefeed Kobe vs. LeBron to us, but the problem with that is everybody, other than frontrunning douches who don't know sports, HATES Kobe.

And also, like someone else said earlier, anytime a player gets suspended, it's not a good thing for that team. It's one less option to go to, and now if Farmar and Brown can't handle the OBVIOUS hostile environment Toyota Center is going to be tomorrow night, he doesn't have a veteran who's been there before to rely on to run the point.

I noted a STRONG positive to take out of this:

If Fisher wasnt a jackass to start this crap last night, then none of this would have become so public. Not to mention, the review of kobe . . forget it

    People are now looking at the Game 1 crap that kobe pulled on shane. they are completely in the wrong (in there attempt to 'play physical', and they know it = weakness;

It is merely the end of game 2 of 7, they (general public, espn et al ) are going to have them under a microscope, AND they know it.

It will be in there heads.

What a great series this is gonna be, All eyes will be on this - can't ask for more!

    love it, GO ROX

If in LA, I might agree with you a little bit; however, Farmar's pts, assists, rebounds, FG%, FT% all drop, with FT% dropping to under 50% (!?) if I'm reading that right.

Kid will be very tight and he already doesn't love the road.

So now they give him a flagrant foul, it should be 2 Fts plus the ball instead of an artest foul plus lakers possession. WTF does a flagrant foul do now?
