When you make suggestions about trading a player it's not met with hate (Maybe in the Jeremy Lin days, lol). The minute you say we need a new coach, all hell breaks loose and somehow the people who are asking for a new coach aren't Rockets fans we are simply stupid haters. This thread has more become about the freedom to voice the displeasure of Mchale than actually firing him. You think I don't know he got extended? It's likely he won't be fired but why can't people voice displeasure and anger toward a coach who is admittedly bad at x's and o's without being called haters? We can talk all day about trading for this player or that player but we can't have a civil discussion on who might be a better coach than Mchale. Whats the point of talking about trading players? None of us have any real power to do so anyway right? But we discuss the possibilities right?

Well, I apologize. I guess there is nothing wrong about having one thread for fans to vent in. However, it does get tiring for the complaints about McHale to pop up in pretty much every other thread also. And it's usually the same people doing the complaining over and over again. the francis/mobley era at least had a notion of spacing for them to drive the lane. this looks like the players literally just met up at the park and can't get out of each other's way.
McHale is only there because he is Morey's puppet. I remember a lot of the reasoning behind letting Adelman go is because he didnt want to give into Morey's gameplan. Adelman wanted to run the show, and I remember the "clash" between the two. I understand Moreyball and the reasoning behind it, but sometimes you need to have an X and O coach. We had it so well with Adelman. We took it for granted thats for sure.
Possible McHale logic, Capela is possibly giving the team momentum, let's substitute him out of the game.
