Want to know what Mavs fans think of their championship coach? If fan bashing of coaches are actually reasonable, then the NBA a multi-billion dollar business is run by a bunch of morons.

No Harden. It means McHale has to actually think more.

The last two games I don't know whether it's due to the shortened rotation or foul trouble or what, but he's made some key substitutions that have worked out great. Last night it was bringing in Brooks for Bev(Brooks hit a key 3) and D-Mo for T-Jones(D-Mo tipped that offensive board to Dwight). Tonight it was D-Mo for T-Jones again which kept Dallas off the offensive boards.

Of course it helps that he's now trusting D-Mo enough to play him(in the 4th quarter no less). That Garcia injury was a blessing in disguise. It reminds me of when T-Jones stepped in for the underachieving Asik early in the season. Now D-Mo's done the same in place of Garcia.

I have to agree. He did a few very good adjustments. You got to give him some credit.

Even tho it was Brooks touching it Last the fault is all on Parsons. Brooks just tried to save it and to not give a TO for an easy Lay up.

It was Dmo's Fault at first but what was worse was Patrick Beverly fouling the 3. At least Dmo has the excuse for playing so hard and trying his best. He isn't our starter either. But Pat's foul is inexcusable because we just fouled a 3 point. And u could see the Dallas' players were looking for the fouls and not the shot. and u give another 3 ft in crucial time?

    and then Parsons' terrible pass

    smh

we were in control with less than 2 minutes to go

He's actually done really good these last 2 games. That breakdown tonight was not his fault, Beverly did something r****ded (gets no sympathy ) and Dmo did the same thing (barely played so he gets the pass). Young team.

I'm still confused about that play with Parsons inbounding to Brooks in the backcourt, which resulted in Brooks losing the pass to out of bounds. Gave the ball back to Dallas. I dont think that was the play drawn up, but Mchale couldn't come up with something better to inbound the ball? Was that just on Parsons for throwing a bad pass to brooks?

lol i don't wanna dismiss the 2 good wins...but i think the shorter rotation due to injuries simplifies itself for mchale, he subs them based on when they need a break, and then that player that comes in makes a good play and we think wow, good substitution lol

Not D-Mo for T-Jones last night. That was with just over a minute to go. That was done entirely for strategic purposes and it worked out great. Brooks coming in for Bev last night was due to foul trouble, so I guess you can deny McFail credit for that if you want.

McHale and his lack of leadership, composure and play calling ruined what should have been a great win over a tough Mavs team.

The didn't win the game, the managed not to lose.

The last ubound play was just un excuseable, you get 2 time outs, plenty of time to run a solid play. What happens? Brooks, goes through no screen or anything just runs straight towards the back court, turnover.

This very well could of cost us the game, and thats on McHale.

IMO, also, when you have Howard and you allow the other team to score 115, we won but thats a personal loss for McHale IMO.

Common sense tells that we should have expected multiple screens to get a pass receiver free for those final inbounds. But nothing like that happened which meant that everybody got covered well. That's squarely on coach.

In general, they don't run picks and screens well enough, and we too often see one-on-one drives as the main weapon to create shots. Right, this is called RnR offense.
