If we had JVG this year we wouldve been at least a four seed possibly a three. Whoever said we made the playoffs despite Mcfuc%boy is exactly right.

Yeah, you make a compelling arguement. McHale is a HOF player and an NBA head coach who has his team in the Playoffs. You obsessively worship an average NBA PG on an internet message board.

Let that sink in for a second...

Mchale was a hall of fame player but as a coach: " stupid is as stupid does".

A lot of people knock Mchale playing Pat Bev this game for so long.

I like Pat but he can't control the flow of the game, he just plays hard.

What should have happened was Harden out, Lin in and play Lin and Pat at the same time. It's not as if Jodie Meeks is Kobe Bryant.

That way Lin has freedom to do his thing and also give Harden more rest....

Also, there is good chemistry between Pat and Lin when they're on the court at the same time. But there isn't much between harden and Lin, probably because Harden shoot every time he gets the ball at the moment.

The Rockets move from Rudy T, JVG , Rick Adelman to Kevin Mcfail is similar to the USA from Roosevelt , JFK , Clinton to George W Bush.

McFail is one of the 3 worst coaches in the league.

I saw that way back when I started this thread and nothing is different today

It wasn't that he left Beverly in there for too long, it was that he had a lead and then went small ball with Beverly, 3 Small Forwards (Garcia, Delfino and Parson) and Greg Smith which began the offensive drought and didn't stop until he had to put the starters back in. Not the first time we have shot ourselves out of a lead, or let SFs guard legit bigs at the PF or C position sparking them to make a late game run.

JVG even called the play out of the timeout. He said if Harden is taking the ball out of bounds, he will be getting handoff back. So McHale draws up that EXACT PLAY AT LEAST TWICE IN A ROW, and it gets shut down. Surprise.

McHale is just not an Xs and Os guy, he is not going to beat you with intellect or outsmarting you, IMO, he is one of the worst in the league at setting up plays - that being said, we do have a couple of guys who are decent at it, not sure why he doesn't let Sampson or Finch step in and draw up a play.

The Rockets biggest hurdle to overcome is youth, their biggest weakness is an over reliance on one on one play off the bounce, no body movement.

Last night the Rockets DESPERATLY needed a stretch PF to open up the lane, and Dmo sat the entire game - not saying he would have made THE difference, but at least he would have given the team a better chance to drive by holding Gasol out on the perimeter.

Meh, I have low expecations for McHale and honestly hope he is canned after the playoffs.

Proposed line ups when and if Mchale ever decides to given Harden a rest.

    Jlin
    PBev
    T Jones
    Delfino
    Asik

If Delfino still isn't quite recovered, stick Parsons in....

wow I guess you didn't watch the games. I doubt anyone could have coached worse than McHale the last two games. oh and nice failed argument with Lin's defense. I'd gladly take Blake's 6/20 shooting any night. Even half of his points came when Lin was on the bench. All your excuse for the coach is that "experts" said we were supposed to suck when no one actually knew how capable our players were. You don't give any actual evidence to back up why and how Mchale helped us win games. I don't know if you just don't know basketball or a MOF.
