McHale has been exposed all season long, just that he screwed up BIG time again in the most important game.

The good thing is he WILL be gone next season.

well it was an important game! but when reality sinks in, even the spurs were going to be a hard matchup.

it wasn't his fault last year nor for the majority this season. All the FIRE MCPHAIL!!! crap was LOF pissed off about lin being benched. Tonight was just ineptitude that warrants it. Thats why people like Reeko and myself have changed our tune.

One of the worst in game decision making coaches. I like how this team plays in general. I would give credits to McHale if he's big part of deciding what kind play this team needs to run in general: Fast pace, transition game. And he's done great as a coach to run team with that.

BUT, during the game, his decision making, counter acts and timings are just terrible. His plays are too simple and routine, way too predictable. Everyone here knew he was going for Harden ISO. And he drew the same play twice near end of 4th qrt and OT. Even for Harden ISO, he can't think of different ways to pass to Harden's hands. The BIGGEST problem is, he does not learn from his mistakes. He does not take responsibility to his own mistakes. It has always been players' fault. This is why he will never be a good coach. I think he gave the team a good definition, but due to his lack of ability for in game decisions, he will have to go.

shut the hell up. Lin was a scrub tonight and played like a D-league player. I maintain that Mchale should be gone but don't use that as an excuse to prop up your god and vindicate him of his suckiness.

I think McHale really embarrassed Morey in today's game. What do you expect Morey to say to Howard during the off-season ?

Lin played horribly tonight. I am a big Lin fan, but I have to say he played terribly. It was more of his mentality. Could McHale have helped by keeping him in the game? Yes, but ultimately, it comes down Lin himself to adjust his mentality. He lost his confidence. Stopped being aggressive. He let his mind gets to him too much.

Let me first all congratulate Mchale on his first Playoff as a coach...

and let me say that if the Rockets dont find a way to get rid of this guy, we will not go anywhere in the future...I cringed at the last possession when Chandler Parsons had to bail us out...But instead of now trusting the hot hand, the Rockets went back with James setting up the ball...One of my favorite things about James Harden is his ability to be a great set shooter...his form and shot is so pure, that he will get those shots down...instead, Harden has now gotten so much freedom with the ISO three look that has destroyed his ability to be efficient...It is your head coach's responsibility to make sure that it is your PG setting up the play...Lin is our damn PG...stop forcing James to be the play maker the entire game...let Lin create...if he turns it over...its on him...James made several terrible decisions with the shot clock running down...passing the ball too late to Lin or Parsons, forcing them to take shots out of rhythm and without the chance to actually have an effective shot...When your best player isnt playing well, it is the coaches responsibility to make it even easier for him to play...F@@@ what he did to TJones and F### his decision to ice off a hot Jeremy Lin...

I am not a LOF...infact i wanted Dragic more than Lin...im a truly unbiased outside viewer...Mchale has shown more confidence in Beverly than Lin, and its so evident...it is not like Beverly is this scoring fiend...its because of his ability to pressure the ball the entire time...Mchale has completely angered me with his terrible decisions in substitutions and questionable play calls/ lack of play calls...that its no longer acceptable...

At first i was skeptical that it was all Mchales fault...I felt the players need to do more...however, i truly think that the Rockets have had more blown games this season, than any I have seen with JVG or Adelman...And sadly this wasnt the first such year...

The Refs didnt affect the outcome of this game...the Coach did...and that is pathetic. As a Rockets fan first, it disheartens me to think that we are going to be faced with the prospect of this fool trying to lead us to victory in any such close game...If our superstars dont make super shots...the Rockets are done...because they arent blowing out the Thunder...The Rockets recipe for success was just trying to outscore their opponents...Tongiht James just kept making bad decisions so many times when faces with an iso play....with all that said...

Mchale really needs to go...I expect to see more of the same...smdh...from 6th to 8th...a season of hardwork by our young players was compromised by the ineptitude of our head coach...he shouldnt be even in the convo for Coach of the year...it was his young players playing out of their collective minds...This playoff achievement was not because our coaching staff put our team in the best position to win...it was the gritty and toughness that our young kids showed...playing playground ball on a professional league...

    Mchale needs to GO...

Actually the conversation is more like Mchale calls timeout:

McHale: Harden comeone man you got to pass more... stop iso'ing so much.

    Harden: F$@K You!

And this is coming from a guy who wants McHale replaced.

Like I said in game thread, the second worse decision behind going small by McHale was bringing Lin back in over Beverly. Lin sucked tonight overall and of all the times McHale decides to stick with Lin was when he was sucking royally down the stretch. Just horrible coaching tonight.

I normally respected your posts but **** YOU for calling it LOF crap. People criticized this same **** all year long. Lin getting benched was like 1 of the 10 things this idiot did wrong. We were criticizing him for many other reasons.

It just took you this long to realize this is what we were criticizing him for.
