Honestly, the Spurs overall talent level is similar or slightly higher than the Rocket's roster yet there is a huge gulf between the two squads. Pop vs JB, there's your answer.

Shouldn't you be coaching instead of posting on Clutch Fans JB?

Didn't know you posted on here. Kinda cool that an NBA coach posts on Clutch Fans. Must be a first.

They're undefeated at home. I'm not bothered by the loss.

I'm just really tired of Brewer and I feel like JB is playing favorites. Would rather see Harrell or McDaniels learn a thing or two and speed up their development.

i don't agree with his take on JB either, but the guy's a hardcore rockets fan who's been here 15yrs, shares what he knows about the team with us, and is going thru a lot with his health right now....let's give him a break bro

This. It's way too easy to blame the coach and even easier to blame a coach who doesn't have an off season with his team.

They were rolling the dice on JB. Les figured it worked once before with this organization when Rudy took over for Chaney. The problem is JB is no Rudy T and this team doesn't have Hakeem Olajuwon.

Obviously they're not gonna hire a new coach now. But if JB isn't let go the moment the season is officially over, then Les isn't serious about winning.

In my opinion, ownership has already decided to throw this year away and prepare to the next one. We have no chance to beat Spurs, Warriors or even OKC in a 7 game series.

JB will be kept as our head coach until the season ends, but he is (FOR SURE) not head coach material. The Rockets will only hire a new coach after the playoffs. Speculations of Scott Brooks really concern me (McFail II).

Worst "rotations" I have ever seen in 25+ years of watching the Rockets. I'm actually sorry for calling for McHale's head. He was better than this chump.

We waste a season for an idiot coach.

If we know this in advance, fans won't want to fire McHale.
McHale is not great, but still far better than JB!!!SMH

Only one to blame is Morey. He's the only GM in the League that doesn't value coaching. JBB's clearly in over his head at this stage of his career, hard to blame him. He's still only 36.

I can't imagine the lineup with Capela, Terry, Brewer, Lawson and Jones.

This is the worst lineup I ever seen... There is no ****ing defense at all.

JB will finish the year mostly because it would mean Le$ has to pay mchale and another coach at the same time, but also because a 3rd head coach in 1 year would be too much turnover for our players to manage. also, a new system will need a full training camp to install. hiring someone like thibs right now wouldn't get much done.

JB has a lot of potential, and he's doing as good as can be expected. i bet he's kept on the bench under the next head coach.
