Jacobs is done for several weeks.

I'm screwed with Julius Jones and Fred Taylor backing him up.

I'll slide Jordan into Jacobs slot next week, but I had high hopes for Jacobs so this still sucks.

Yeah, I had Jacobs too. Giants usually put him in during goal-line situations which translated into TD's. DAMN!!!

But thanks to John Kitna (80 points), Joseph Addai (21 points) and Laveranues Coles (21 points), I'm up 217 to 142. Hell, even Jason Witten got me 17 points and that game isn't even over yet!

I'm in 5 leagues this year, and it looks like I'll go 1-4 this week. URGH!!

Vince Young killed me in one league. Larry Johnson hurt me in another. None of my tight ends helped me except Witten in the one league where I should squeak out a victory.

    Man..............1-4.

27 completions, 289 yards, 3 TD's. I guess in our league INT's don't count for much because he threw 2 of them. Hey, far be it from me to complain about my leagues rules.

That's the most ridiculously QB-slanted league I've ever seen. Addai had a good week. Kitna had a good week. I think in a well-scored league, Kitna should have outscored Addai by between 5 and 25% depending on certain bonuses for TD length, etc.. But nearly 300% ??

(I really don't like leagues like that just cause...you could have some good performances all around. But if your QB is below-average and the other team's QB is other-worldly, that would negate 3 or 4 other great performances)

Agreed, but I'm certainly not complaining this week. :D

It was looking like a loss for me this week with Evans getting a 0, Jones-Drew getting a 3, Parker getting 10, and the Broncos D getting 5. Tony Romo to the rescue!!!!!

I haven't read the rest of the posts on this thread, but did anyone have Minnesota's DEF? I have them in 2 leagues They were benched (had Philly's D and Miami's D going), and they end up having a stellar day!! In my leagues, they scored 29 FREAKING POINTS!!!!

You know who else had 80 points in my league? Hint: he graduated from the same school I did.

    Josh McCown

I didn't realize my league was so QB friendly. I need to talk to my commish...

Yeah that is out of whack big time -- if those guys scored 80 points then Romo must have hit 150.

Actually Eli Manning got the most points in the league (90) with Kitna and McCown tied for 2nd (80).

I'm guessing the scoring is a point per completion and a point per 10 yards // td 6 points // bonus at 300 yards..?

Indications out of St Louis are that Orlando Pace might miss the season.

Just trying to cheer you up...

I grabbed Chris Brown in the 2nd to last round of my draft. What a steal. I was thinking why is a starting running back for any team still on the board. He's on the bench in favor of my other beast of RB's, but at least he's good trade bait now. Definitely a value pick in my opinion.

I swear to you guys I won my league last year. I had the luckiest season, I had one of the lowest total scores but everyone had a bad game against me. so the championship game was on the day tomlinson had the bad game. the guy who had tomlinson had willie parker, and drew brees and he lost. he had set some of kind of scoring record in our league.

so we decided to have a keeper league this year, the only player I had worth keeping was young and he wasn't even worth it. but I kept him so I could root for him, I started him yest, but he outperformed my other qbs, seriously, rivers who didn't have any tds and the same with jeff garcia. the only other player I had worth keeping was larry fitzgerald and I ended up drafting him anyway. in the keeper format, keeping players subsitutes for drafting so since me and another guy kept the fewest players so I got a peterson, and calvin johnson. needless to say they carried me but the guy I'm playing, we're tied going into tonight. I have fitzgerald, and he has darrel jackson.
