$400-$500? I think you may have seen the prices of some bundles they are selling and were mistaken. And, if that is the case, the price comes with a game or two and/or extras like a memory card or extra controller, etc. The 360 core system is $300, the premium is $400.
You still have to have an Internet service in your home. It's just got wireless capabilities, like a laptop or PC or the DS or a 360 with an adapter.
i guess if you compare it to what you get with the xbox 360, the ps3 comes out ahead as a better "value" you get wifi, which is 100 bucks additional for the adaptor on 360. plus you get a HDD, the online gaming thing is free (so far), and blu-ray. for 500 bucks, it's actually not bad. but yet again i could get two systems for that price. and how much are the games gonna cost? 69?
It could be that way, but if this is true: That means: - No built-in Wi-fi - No HDMI port - No Memory Stick slot - No SD card slot - No Compact Flash slot - 20GB hard drive
Uhh yeah that's exactly what he said... Anyway, here's the difference between the Wii and the PS3 controllers: http://revolution.ign.com/articles/705/705870p1.html
I think I'm ready to invest in an xbox360 or wii of my own, lets see what nintendo and microsoft have in store
??? What are you talking about? UT missed the quote the first time; hence the reason I repeated it. Why so annoyed? hmmmmmm
Here friends!!! http://ranobe.sakuratan.com/up2/updata/up34694.zip Right click and save as, left clicking on the link doesn't work.
they are selling it for 499Euro and 599Euro in Europe! thats ****ed up! lol..whats the exchange rate on that?
I'm on a dilemma here... I want the Wii because: Zelda, innovation, etc. I want the PS3 because: FFXIII, NBA 2k7 <<< This here is the biggest factor. I am STILL hooked on NBA 2k6 as of today. So I will probably buy PS3 because of NBA 2k7. I'm pretty sure Wii won't have that game and it will be hard to play it anyway because it only has 3-4 buttons. And the X factor is the XBOX 360... BTW, bad news for PS3, the controllers will NOT have the vibration feature anymore because it got in the way of the sensors.
I'd say it's likely I buy my son his PS3 for Christmas 2007. Hopefully the price will be chopped by at least $100.00. If not, it's summer 2008 for his birthday.
Hahaahhaha! 600 bucks just to get the good version? F you Sony! It's a freaking console! If I really wanna turn something into a home media hub, I'll just use Windows Media Center & have the ability to use my PCs AND my gaming console (360)... Dumb. For the 50 bucks over the price of the decent version of the PS3, you can get a 360 AND a Wii! Backlash already: LINK
What does that do? Sorry, haven't been following the new consoles much. So I'm guessing Nintendo created this thing and Sony copied it? But what's so special about it?
It's interactive with the game. You wave the remote around, it waves around in the game too. Imagine wielding a lightsaber with the remote, or throwing a football.
I don't think 600 is that bad for the initial release. But if they don't want to lose some of their user base they are going to have to cut that number way down within the first year or so. I think it's hilarious that Sony adopted N's idea. I said from the beginning that if N's idea was any good Sony would incorporate it into their system, but I had no idea that it would be so soon. I don't have any qualms with it though. I'm thinking I might just skip this generation all together.
